Volunteering

As well as the considerable benefits our members gain from participation in U3A Moonee Valley’s classes and activities, many derive great satisfaction by contributing their time and skills as volunteers. Our membership includes people with a vast range of experience and we rely entirely on volunteers for the success of our organisation. We welcome offers of support in four main categories: tutoring, office volunteering, events support and membership of the Committee of Management. All volunteers are invited to attend a lunch each year as a way of “thank you” from members and an opportunity to get to know each other.
